U.S. suffered the highest rise in import prices for a year last month.
Figures from the Labor Department showed that import prices rose by 1.3% in November, the biggest rise since the same month last year.
The revised figure for October was a rise of 1.0%, up from 0.9%.
This is the first time since June 2009 that there have been two consecutive months when prices have risen more than 1%.
