Copper Development Corporation started trading on AIM today (13 December) after raising £40.7m through the placing of 116,182,857 new ordinary shares capitalising the company at £78.7m.
CDC's principal asset is its 92.5% interest in the Sipalay-Hinoba-an Copper project on the island of Negros in the Philippines, approximately 700km south of Manila.
CDC says the project is ideally located to serve the growing Chinese copper market, the world's largest user and importer of refined copper.
