Avia Health Informatics has clinched three multi-year deals with an expected total value of approximately £640,000 over the period of the contracts.
The contracts are for a renewal with a major long-standing customer and for deployments with two new customers, one of which is for a newly-developed product, Odyssey FirstAssess.
Avia said Hull City Healthcare Partnership had signed a three-year contract for the delivery of Odyssey TeleAssess and Odyssey FaceToFace, to be deployed at three sites.
This is a new out of hours customer for Avia and represents further consolidation of our position as the leading provider of clinical decision support to this sector within the NHS.
HMP Bedford has signed a three-year contract for the delivery of Odyssey FirstAssess.
The solution will be deployed to provide improved healthcare services at the prison whilst reducing the cost of delivery.
HMP Bedford has also committed to becoming a technology development partner with Avia and will act as an important reference site for the prison sector.
And Amicus ITS, the IT services division of leading independent primary care provider Harmoni HS, has signed a major three-year contract for the delivery of Odyssey TeleAssess for use at all Harmoni sites.
Avia said it was also pleased to announce that an Odyssey customer, SSAFA Forces Help and British Forces Germany, had been awarded the prestigious Innovation and Service Development Award at the Military and Civilian Health Partnership Awards 2010 for its delivery of out of hours care using Odyssey TeleAssess.
The project was commended for achieving considerable savings in resources together with enhanced delivery of care.
