Stuart Brookes
Finance and Operations Director
Stuart is our Finance and Operations Director based at the firm’s Blackpool office. He heads a team of more than 60 staff whose responsibilities include finance, operations, human resources, IT, operational risk and ISA plan management, as well as administration services for the firm’s SIPP and venture capital trusts.
After qualifying as a chartered certified accountant in 1992 with the firm’s auditors, he joined Hargreave Hale as financial controller in 1994 and subsequently became finance and operations partner in 1996. He became Finance and Operations Director upon incorporation of the firm in February 2001.
Stuart is also company secretary for the two listed venture capital trusts for which the company provides investment management services.
As well as a fellow of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants, Stuart is a member of the Securities and Investment Institute and a member of the Institute of Directors.
